Harrison cycled the 600 hundred mile round trip from Limoncello, London, to the Eiffel Tower, Paris. He let down his front tyre and inflated it with Paris air then cycled home and handed over the wheel.

‘Professor Pillinger Project Photograph’, 2005, 2 Framed Digital Prints

‘Beagle 3’ pictured in the image is Harrison’s earth-bound replication of Professor Colin Pillinger’s Beagle 2 probe, launched to Mars in 2003. The desk name plaque for Professor Pillinger was posted to him with a disposable camera and a request to take a picture of his new item positioned on his desk.

‘Door Handle and Door Stop’, 2006/8, Timbers: African Ebony, African Padauk, American Black Walnut, American Cherry, Ash, Beech, Brazilian Tulipwood, Bubinga, Cuban Mahogany, East African Pau Rosa, Lacewood, London Plane, Maple, Mopane, Pink Ivory, Purpleheart, Pau Amarelo, Santiné Bloodwood, Violet Rosewood, Wenge, Zebrano. Various Veneers, Cellulose Painted Aluminium Brackets, Stainless Steel and Aluminium Fixings, Steel and Perspex.

The ‘Door Handle and Door Stop’ made from exotic timbers are layered in a dazzle pattern that was invented by the Vorticists during World War 1 for the British Royal Naval ships, to dazzle the enemy rather than conceal themselves.
